Jerry works in Regional Bridge Inspection and Inventory Coordinator for the New York State Department of Transportation (DOT). In addition, he has worked in Design, Survey and Construction for DOT. He has worked for the New York State Department of Transportation for the past 28 years.
Jerry is currently serving as a PEF Executive Board member in PEF Region 3, Seat 520 and has served as an Executive Board Representative for DOT for Rochester and Hornell for the past 15 years. He has been a member on the Statewide Labor Management committee for 18 years. He was the Co Chair for the Statewide Veterans Committee and very involved with getting the Veterans Buy back Bill Passed. He is currently a member of the Veterans Committee and has served as a member of the Divisions Committee, PCP Committee, Convention Committee, Family Benefits and EAP Committees. Jerry has been the EAP coordinator for the past 20 years. He has been a Steward for Division 284 as well as Assistant Council Leader and Co Council Leader and a convention delegate for 23 years.
Jerry has been and will continue to be a strong advocate for DOT members as well as all PEF members fighting for their rights and for job security. When you elect him as a PEF Vice President for the NYUP Slate he will continue to work hard for all PEF members. He will continue to fight to keep our union strong in light of the possible Janus Legislation and will educate members on the union membership benefits and the importance of continuing union involvement.
